Are you still loading the bike on your car Sunday mornings, only to realize that there is no cyclocross race to drive to?  Depending how you look at it,  the first or last cross race of the season is being held February 21st.  The 23rd Annual Bill Jensen Memorial Tour de Groundhog Cyclocross Race is being hosted by Team Mack at New Salem State Park in Illinois.  The park is located ten miles north of Springfield, IL.  So don’t hang up the tubulars just yet, there is still cyclocross to feed the addiction.  For more info please check out the race flyer:   http://www.teammackracing.org/images/2010Groundhog.jpg

Fun race, cool venue — how often can you say you’ve raced in the footsteps of Abraham Lincoln?! It’s a short course with a climb — depending on the weather it can get *nasty.* Head down and represent! (Full disclosure: yes, I’m a former Macker …)
