With a new motor on the way I found a new interval to add to my arsenal of 2 x 20 and 30 – 30′s. This is an off the bike work out. I call it drop the screwdriver and start all over again. First you blow the motor on your dryer. When you find a replacement and pull every part off of you favorite appliance in the house. The motor goes back into the dryer relatively trouble free, so you look for a way to make it interesting. Everything is back together and at the right moment you drop the screwdriver in the slot. That’s where the mental training comes in. You can’t just take a household appliance apart four to six times in a row without being strong of body and mind. Best results for an interval of this nature are had when the session is started in the evening and lasts into the am hours. This repeated mind punch that disassembly offers you is great for that 42nd minute in the cross race where you are trying to disassemble yourself from the inside out. The fun does have to end sometime, so be sure to keep an eye on that screwdriver after the next repeat, or else your clothes will never dry.
