The H-Ball has a Hot Wheels mini-big wheel that he loves. It makes all kinds of sweet noises, cruisin music, engines reving, tires squealing. I was pushing him around the back yard yesterday just about as fast as I could run, while he steered. As most of us know the transition from grass to pavement is dicey…I dislocated my shoulder last year on such an endeavor. I was moved almost to tears when my not yet three year old son was turning into the skid, working the drift on the blue groove. Nothing short of prodigal behavior, worthy of a nickname such as the H-Ball. That’s todays lesson on handling, turn into the skid and let’er run baby, if a toddler can do so can you.
