I rode em that race too, for the first time. I could HEAR them biting the ground. Awesome. However… If you plan on taking a wet PAVED corner much faster than your skill level, while standing up like an idiot….You will fall down and go boom. Do the SAME thing on the following lap, and yep…the same thing happens all over again. I’ve got the scars to prove it.

I 2nd Velogrrl, Michelin Mud 2 is the gold standard of clincher tires.

How about Michelin Mud 2? they would have been good for a course like Northbrook. (disclaimer: I am NOT a tire expert, I pick one and stick with it for a while)
